11. ALIPURDUAR
West Bengal [WB] India

Alipurduar district is one of the districts of the state of West Bengal in India. The district is the part of Jalpaiguri Division. Alipurduar city is the headquarters of the district. It was made a district by bifurcating Jalpaiguri district in 2014. This is the easternmost district of West Bengal. It is situated in the Western Dooars natural region, in the foothills of the Bengal Himalayas.

12. ALIRAJPUR
Madhya Pradesh [MP] India

Alirajpur District is one of the 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It was created from Alirajpur, Jobat and Bhabra tehsils of the former Jhabua district on 17 May 2008. It is the least literate district in India as per Census 2011. Alirajpur is the administrative headquarters of the district. The district occupies an area of 2,165.24 square kilometres (836.00 sq mi), and at the 2011 census had a population of 728,999. It includes the city of Alirajpur. 

13. ALLURI SITHARAMA RAJU
Andhra Pradesh [AP] India

Alluri Sitharama Raju district, also known as Alluri district and by its initials as ASR district, is a district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The headquarters of the district is located at Paderu. Named after Alluri Sitarama Raju, a revolutionary in the Indian independence movement who hailed from the region, the district was effective since 4 April 2022 and became one of the twenty-six districts in the state. The district is known for its scenery and lies in the Eastern Ghats.

14. ALMORA
Uttarakhand [UK] India

Almora is a district in the Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand state, India. The headquarters is at Almora. It is 1,638 meters above sea level. The neighbouring regions are Pithoragarh district to the east, Chamoli district to the west, Bageshwar district to the north and Nainital district to the south.

15. ALWAR
Rajasthan [RJ] India

Alwar is a district in the state of Rajasthan in northern India, whose district headquarters is Alwar city. The district covers 8,337 km2. It is bound on the north by Khairthal Tijara and Kot Behror district of Haryana, on the east by Bharatpur district of Rajasthan and Nuh district of Haryana, on the south by Dausa district, and on the west by Jaipur district.

16. AMBALA
Haryana [HR] India

Ambala district is one of the 22 districts of Haryana state in the country of India with Ambala town serving as the administrative headquarters of the district. District Ambala lies on the North-Eastern edge of Haryana and borders Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Ambala district is a part of Ambala Division.

17. AMBEDKAR NAGAR
Uttar Pradesh [UP] India

Ambedkar Nagar is one of the 75 districts of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district is a part of Ayodhya division in the Awadh region of the state. This district was established on 29 September 1995 by carving out parts of the erstwhile Faizabad district (now Ayodhya district).[1] It was created by the then Chief Minister Mayawati and named in memory of B. R. Ambedkar, who worked for the advancement of the depressed classes. The total area of Ambedkar Nagar district is 2350 Sq. Km.[2] 

18. AMETHI
Uttar Pradesh [UP] India

Amethi is a district of the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district is a part of Ayodhya division in the Awadh region of Uttar Pradesh. It covers an area of 2,329.11 km2. Gauriganj is the administrative headquarters of the district.

19. AMRAVATI
Maharashtra [MH] India

Amravati district is a district of Maharashtra state in central India. It is the administrative headquarter of Amravati division, which is one of the two divisions in Vidarbha (other being Nagpur), out of total 6 regions in state of Maharashtra.

The district is situated between 20°32' and 21°46' north latitudes and 76°37' and 78°27' east longitudes. The district occupies an area of 12,235 km2. The district has boundaries with Betul District of Madhya Pradesh state to the north, and with the Maharashtra districts of Nagpur to the northeast, Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh to the northeast Wardha to the east, Yavatmal to the south, Washim to the southwest, and Akola and Buldhana districts to the west. 

20. AMRELI
Gujarat [GJ] India

Amreli district is one of the 33 administrative districts of the state of Gujarat in western India. The district headquarters are located at Amreli. The district occupies an area of 7,397 km2 and has a population of 1,514,190 of which 22.45% were urban (as of 2011). Amreli is the land of Yogiji Maharaj (Dhari), Dan Bapu (Chalala), Sage Muldas, Sage Bhojalram Bapa, Sage Muktanand Swami, Magician K.Lal, Zaverchand Meghani's place (Bagasara), Dr. Jivaraj Mehta etc. Amreli covers Dhari Gir National forest sanctuary area. Now it is developing as a Hub of Education.
